Expand business licensing with foreign investors

This is a new point in Decree 09/2018/ND-CP on goods purchase and sale activities and activities directly related to goods purchase and sale of foreign investors and foreign-invested economic organizations in Vietnam.

Accordingly, in addition to investors belonging to countries and territories participating in the Treaty to which Vietnam is a member and committing to open the market for M&A activities, the following subjects, if they meet the conditions, will also be granted licenses:

• Foreign investors do not belong to countries or territories participating in treaties to which Vietnam is a member;
• Foreign investors belonging to countries or territories that participate in treaties to which Vietnam is a member but do not have a commitment to open the goods and services they want to do business with.
